Frequently Asked Questions

We believe in transparency. Here are answers to some of the most common questions customers ask us - so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you offer service on the weekends?

We’re available on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Unlike many companies that tack on extra weekend fees, All Comfort Air believes that’s just greedy - so we don’t. You’ll always get the same great service at the same fair rate.

Are you properly licensed and insured?

Yes. Our company is fully licensed to perform HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance in North Carolina, and we carry full liability and workers’ compensation insurance. This means your home, property, and our team are all protected. Hiring a licensed and insured HVAC contractor ensures that the work meets state safety standards, is backed by accountability, and gives you peace of mind knowing you’re in professional hands.

What brands and types of HVAC systems do you service or install?

We service and install all major brands and every type of HVAC system. From geothermal, electric, and gas-fired units to heat pumps, furnaces, and central air systems, we’ve got you covered. While we proudly sell and install Goodman systems for new equipment, our technicians are fully trained to repair, maintain, and optimize all major makes and models.

How do North Carolina’s hot summers and cold winters affect HVAC performance?

North Carolina’s climate puts HVAC systems to the test. Hot, humid summers force your air conditioner to work harder to keep indoor air cool and dry, which can lead to higher energy use and wear over time. In the winter, sudden cold snaps mean your furnace or heat pump has to switch gears quickly to maintain comfort. These seasonal swings make regular maintenance especially important in the Raleigh area, ensuring your system runs efficiently year-round and preventing breakdowns when you need it most.

Can you help improve indoor air quality for homes?

Absolutely. We offer a range of indoor air quality solutions designed to make your home healthier and more comfortable. From professional air duct cleaning and high-efficiency filtration to humidity control and smart ventilation options, our team helps reduce dust, allergens, and pollutants in the air. Whether you’re in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, or the surrounding Triangle communities, we can customize a solution that fits your space and your needs.

Are energy-efficient upgrades, like smart thermostats, worth it for Raleigh homes?

Yes - energy-efficient upgrades like smart thermostats are a great investment for Raleigh homeowners. Smart thermostats learn your schedule, adjust temperatures automatically, and help reduce wasted energy during North Carolina’s hot summers and chilly winters. Many families see lower utility bills and improved comfort within the first season. Plus, upgrades like these can increase home value and qualify for energy rebates, making them a smart long-term choice.

Why should I choose a locally owned HVAC company instead of a national chain?

Choosing a locally owned HVAC company means working with a team that truly understands Raleigh’s climate, neighborhoods, and the unique needs of homes and businesses in the Triangle. Unlike national chains, we take a personalized approach - offering honest advice, faster response times, and service from people who live and work in your community. Supporting a local business also keeps your dollars in the local economy while ensuring you get reliable comfort from neighbors you can trust.
